Fire at London Islamic school: four teenagers arrested as police step up security

http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/fire-at-london-islamic-school-four-teenagers-arrested-as-police-step-up-security-8651586.html

Summary:

Over the course of the fires targeting Islamic centers, has anyone thought of the relation to the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby? Or will that be forgotten as well as any other result as corruption arises. In my opinion, these four teenagers are heroes to the world. They have my total consent because they were able to do something that no one else had the "guts" to. They did this despite the consequences and took action because everyone had been outraged by the murder. Pictured in my first link, is the video directly after two muslims brutally kill by decapitating Rigby and then hacking at his body. What the Muslim states is that since Muslims in Afganistan are being killed by British and Americans what is one British solider. "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth is this British soldier...The only reason we have killed this man today is because Muslims are dying daily by British soldiers." He acuses that the murders in Afganistan are purely not letting Muslims let live under their own Shari'ah law. We are not killing Muslims in Afganistan because of their religion, we are killing the radical terrorists at war with the west. This man is incorrectly thinking, his religion is the reason why Americans and the British"continuously murder" Muslims. Not because of their religion, but because of their actions. Therefore, killing Rigby simply because he is apart of the British Armed Forces.

Great summary and good article choice!!!!!!! :D -Loralie C. :P

Metaphor Poems:

TreeA bare tree, with its beautiful leaves in the spring, and cold, naked bark in the wintersitting there until it diessilenced forever. As it comes around again, once more,we are there to watch it growto see the once more beautiful accomplishmentsit has overcome.

OceanAs we are forgotten,we flow gently through our homes, there are more than we think, more people to overcome,as we fight throughout timetaking places of one another, none of us are really forgotten.

Helmet
A large, white helmet, sitting bare in your garage, that is used only when they need you.
From taking blows to our lives,to protecting the most important things, those are our only purposes. We have never really helped ourselves.

Queen Elizabeth I

Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth at the age of 25. After the death of Mary I, Elizabeth inherited a nation destroyed by religious arguments and the power of France and Spain were beginning to fall apart. Elizabeth is an important person to our history because of her great transformation of this bankrupted nation. By refusing any help from her husband, this made Elizabeth’s name even more historical throughout our history. Her main goal was to earn the love of all her subjects. Even enemies looked up to Elizabeth for her strength and courage. After her death, most subjects cared greatly for her and all of her accomplishments. She had led her country to fullest she could have ruled.

China Poem (Drought.)

By: Lindsey Martino

Just beyond our reach,
The rely on something physically,
inevitably important,
Is an uncontrollable forever.
When the rely is forced to be broken,
We can not live nor flourish,
When the only adaptation,
Was the one to depend on.

Without a bond or trust,
To someone or something,
How could all function?

Are these not the reasons why?
Or are you, too unaware,
To recognize the drought in the air?
